Liberia Inclusion and Literacy Foundation, in partnership with the Mingo’s Foundation identifies with the Hard of Hearing Community.

The Liberia Inclusion and Literacy Foundation,

In partnership with the Mingo’s Foundation, has donated several assorted items, including clothes, shoes, and children’s toys, to the National Union of the Organization of the Disabled.

The gesture is part of the foundations’ missions and visions to alleviate the burden of extreme poverty and to foster an environment where every person has the chance to thrive and receive essential life skills and holistic care.

Speaking on behalf of the Chief Executive Officers of the foundations, Philo Roberts-Koffa, the operational manager of the Mingo’s Foundation, said

the donation is the foundations’ own way of giving back to the disabled community.

She expressed the foundations’ commitment to empower and provide more opportunities for members of the disabled community.

For his part, the Secretary-General of the National Union of the Organization of the Disabled, Sylvester Mombo, lauded the foundation’s efforts to support people with disabilities. He also lauded the foundations for the gesture and called on them to ensure their initiatives are decentralized across the country.
